Yamato is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Molecular Biology. His research focuses on clear cell renal cell carcinoma and studying the role of the Survivin protein. He previously worked with RENCA cells and is currently working on a project with a new mouse kidney cancer cell line, LVRCC.
Outside of the lab, Yamato loves swimming, watching sports, and traveling.
